കേരളത്തിലെ സ്ക്കൂള്‍ അധ്യാപകര്‍ക്ക് പിന്തുണയേകുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച ഗണിതബ്ലോഗ് മറ്റൊരു ചുവടു വെയ്പ്പുകൂടി നടത്തുകയാണ്. സംസ്ഥാന ശാസ്ത്രമേളകളുടെ ഭാഗമായി തൃശൂരില്‍ നടന്ന ഗണിത ശാസ്ത്ര ക്വിസിലെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാ ഗണിതശാസ്ത്ര അധ്യാപകര്‍ക്കും വേണ്ടി ബ്ലോഗിലൂടെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു. മുന്‍കാലങ്ങളില്‍ ക്വിസ് മത്സരവേദിയില്‍ കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് നിന്ന് ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതിയെടുക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കു മാത്രമേ അവ ലഭ്യമായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ ഇനി മുതല്‍ ഗണിതബ്ലോഗ് എന്ന സംരംഭം ഉള്ള കാലത്തോളം അവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഭംഗിയായി തയ്യാറാക്കി നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിന് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ താല്പര്യമെടുത്ത ബ്ലോഗ് ടീമംഗങ്ങളായ ജോണ്‍ സാറിനും ഭാമടീച്ചര്‍ക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അഭ്യുദയകാംക്ഷികളുടെ പേരില്‍ നന്ദിപറയുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാന മേള നടക്കുന്ന തൃശൂരില്‍ നിന്നും ക്വിസ് കഴിഞ്ഞയുടനെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കാന്‍ പാകത്തില്‍ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതിത്തയ്യാറാക്കി ഇവര്‍ സ്കാന്‍ ചെയ്തയച്ചു തരികയായിരുന്നു. താഴെയുള്ള ലിങ്കില്‍ നിന്നും ചോദ്യപേപ്പര്‍ ഡൌണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്തെടുക്കാം. ഒപ്പം, എങ്ങനെയാണ് മേള നടന്നതെന്ന വിവരണത്തിലേക്ക്,
സംസ്ഥാനതല ഗണിതക്വിസില്‍ നമ്മുടെ ബ്ലോഗില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട പ്രശ്നങ്ങളോട് സാമ്യമുള്ള ചില ചോദ്യങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെന്നത് നമുക്ക് സന്തോഷിക്കാന്‍ വക നല്‍കുന്നു. ക്വിസ് മത്സരത്തില്‍ 14 റവന്യൂജില്ലകളില്‍ നിന്നുമായി ഒന്നും രണ്ടും സ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ നേടിയ 28 കുട്ടികളാണ് പങ്കെടുത്തത്. പ്രമുഖ ഗണിതശാസ്ത്ര ഗ്രന്ഥകര്‍ത്താവായ എം.ആര്‍.സി നായരായിരുന്നു ക്വിസ് മാസ്റ്റര്‍. ഓരോ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിക്കുമ്പോഴും കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കും കാഴ്ചക്കാരായ അധ്യാപകര്‍ക്കുമായി പ്രൊജക്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ആ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മലയാളത്തിലും പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിച്ചു. ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉത്തരം കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ പേനയോ പേപ്പറോ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ പൊതുവില്‍ അവസരം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നില്ല. മനക്കണക്കായി ഉത്തരത്തിലേക്കെത്തണം. അതായിരുന്നു നിബന്ധന. ഓരോ ചോദ്യത്തിനും ആവശ്യത്തിന് വിശദീകരണം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. ഒരു ട്രയല്‍ ചോദ്യം ഉള്‍പ്പടെ 21 ചോദ്യങ്ങളാണ് ചോദിച്ചത്. സംസ്ഥാന ശാസ്ത്രമേളയില്‍ ഇത്തവണത്തെ ക്വിസ് മത്സരവിജയി ഒരു ഒന്‍പതാം ക്ലാസുകാരനാണെന്നത് ഒരല്‍പ്പം അത്ഭുതത്തിനും ഒരു ആശ്വാസപുഞ്ചിരിക്കും ഇടനല്‍കുന്നു.
സംസ്ഥാന ഹൈസ്ക്കൂള്‍ വിഭാഗം ഗണിതശാസ്ത്രക്വിസ് മത്സരഫലം :
ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനം: കശ്യപ് വി കരുണ്‍ (സെന്‍റ് മേരീസ് ഹൈസ്ക്കൂള്‍ കൂടല്ലൂര്‍, കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ല),
രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം: ജെറിന്‍ വിന്‍സന്‍റ് (ശ്രീനാരായണ ഹയര്‍സെക്കന്‍ററി സ്ക്കൂള്‍, പറവൂര്‍, എറണാകുളം) ,
മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനം : ജിഷ്ണു എം, (ജി.എച്ച്.എസ്, വരവൂര്‍, തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ല).

A qn. for classroom discussion' I have a list of positive intigers ,not necessarily distinct. the number 68 appears in the list. the Arethematic Mean of the list is 56,but if the 68 is removed ,the average drops to 55.what is the largest number that could have appeared in my list?
