നിസ്വാര്‍ത്ഥമായ ഈ സേവനത്തിന് പ്രമോദ് സാറിന് എത്ര നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞാലും മതിയാകില്ല. അത്രയേറെ സമയം അദ്ദേഹം ഈ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നതിനു പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ എല്ലാ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടേയും അധ്യാപകരുടേയും പേരില്‍ ആത്മാര്‍ത്ഥമായ നന്ദി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തട്ടെ.

ഡെല്‍ 1133 പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ ഉബുണ്ടുവില്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റോള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഈ ഫയല്‍ Printer Driver – DELL 1133 ഡൌണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്യുക ഡൌണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്ത ഫയല്‍ Right click ചെയ്തു extract ചെയ്യുക കിട്ടിയ ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ തുറക്കുകinstall.sh ഫയല്‍ double click ചെയ്തു Run in terminalലില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിപ്പിക്കുക

I am using Windows 7 and MS Office.
Could you kindly let me know what I must do in order to be able to open these files?
dear sir, i dont know whether you are a school teacher or not, if you are a school teacher i wonder y u r still sticking on windows........!!
we have already mentioned that SETIGam is an exclusive ubuntu based software....u cant use it in windows.....
better you change to ubuntu or try some other softwares ( if they have any..)

I have the latest version of Ubuntu - Ubuntu 13.10. In that version the Gambas version is version 3. Your program I think requires Gambas 2 and is therefore not running in Ubuntu 13.10. Can you provide a version for Gambas 3 or, if you don't mind, provide the source so that I can compile it for Gambas 3. Thanks.
dear krish, there is an option in gambas3 itself to convert a gambas2 program.try it but some of the features may not work like kde.gtk.html ...
the source is already published in the very first SETIGam post itself
I could not find any such conversion option. I have gbr3 and running your program asks for gbr2. I made a symlink to gbr2 from gbr3 and tried again. But that didn't work.
Anyway, it's all right.

sir, according to my knowledge Ubuntu is a word from southafrica and the main promoter of this linux project is started by a south african entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth......

Here in South Africa I haven't come across anybody using linux operating system, which I understand is a free software. I have absolutely no objection to using it. Unfortunately I haven't seen anybody using it here.
And I do not know if all applications will run on it. In Kerala I understand that ubuntu is used very widely. I wish to experience that software.

ഐടി@സ്കൂള് ഉബുണ്ടുവില്‍ സ്ക്രാച്ച് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിലെ നാലാംക്ലാസ് ഐസിടി പാഠപുസ്തകത്തില്‍ സ്ക്രാച്ച് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. പാഠപുസ്തകം ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.

Thank you for that link. I noticed that Scratch is the last chapter in the book. And usually last chapters are not covered well in the class.
But do students find it interesting and fun? Are they motivated to try out programs on their own? Isn't 4th standard a bit too early to introduce programming, even through a visual programming language such as Scratch. I would have thought that 7th standard or 8th standard would have been more appropriate to introduce programming. Perhaps I am wrong.

I wanted to try it out and give you some feedback. But unfortunately, for reasons mentioned above, I could not make it work.
