Maths - 8 -ന്റെ 10-ാം question ന്റb- part-ൽ length is reduced by 1/8. Solength= 16x 1 / 8 = 2. So Length of the new rectangle will be breadth of the original rectangle. അതുകൊണ്ട് നീളം: വീതി = 12:2 ആകില്ലേ ie, 6:1 ശരിയാണോ

Dear social science teachers,
The scoring key of 2nd term exam of q. No.28 is to elucidate the characteristics of Himalayan rivers, but to my dismay I found that one of the scoring key that was given by one teachersays the tributaries and the origin, but thats not the apt answer. Answer needed is listing the Himalayan rivers and the characteristic of himalayan rivers which includes.. inland navigation, erosion, deep valleys are formed and so on..
Answers should be to the question..

The length be reduced by 1 / 8 . ie., the length be 16 x 1/8 = 2cm.Hence the new length become 16 - 2 = 14. So the new ratio of length : breath = 14:12 Simplify we get 7:6.

I think exactly the length be 14cm and the answer = 14: 12 or 7 : 6.
