Institution Information ചേര്ക്കാന്
Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Institution Information - Institution Nameക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. സ്കൂളിന്റെ പേര് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് ok ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
തുടര്ന്ന് Institution Information – Comments ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് Timetable എന്നും കൂടെ വര്ഷവും ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് ok ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
Days and hours ചേര്ക്കാന്
Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Days and hours - Days per week ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. 5 ദിവസം / 6 ദിവസം; ഏതാണോ വേണ്ടത് സെറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് ok ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
തുടര്ന്ന് Hours per day ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് 7 പിരീഡുകള് സെറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് അവയ്ക്ക് ഉചിതമായ പേര് നല്കി ok ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
Subjects ചേര്ക്കാന്
Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Subjects ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തുറന്നു വരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add subject ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് വിഷയങ്ങളുടെ പേരുകള് ചുരുക്കി മാത്രം നല്കുക. (ഉദാ: ഇംഗ്ലീഷിന് Eng). ഇപ്രകാരം എല്ലാ വിഷയങ്ങളും ചേര്ത്ത് Closeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ചേര്ത്ത ഒരെണ്ണം നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Remove currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Rename currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി.
Teachersചേര്ക്കാന്
Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Teachers ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തുറന്നു വരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add teacher ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് അധ്യാപകരുടെ പേരുകള് ചുരുക്കി മാത്രം നല്കുക.
ഇപ്രകാരം എല്ലാ അധ്യാപകരുടെയും പേരുകള് ചേര്ത്ത് Closeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ചേര്ത്ത ഒരാളെ നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Remove currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Rename currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി.
Studentsചേര്ക്കാന്
ആദ്യം വര്ഷം ചേര്ക്കണം. അതിന് Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Students - Years ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
തുറന്നു വരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add year ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് വര്ഷം(2011-2012) ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് Closeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ചേര്ത്ത വര്ഷം നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Removeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Modifyക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി.
തുടര്ന്ന് Students - Groups ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് Add group സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് ക്ലാസുകള് ചേര്ത്ത് Close ചെയ്യുക. Group കൊണ്ട് ക്ലാസുകള് ആണ് താല്പര്യം.
ചേര്ത്ത ക്ലാസ്സ് നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Removeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Modifyക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി.
ഡിവിഷനുകള് ചേര്ക്കാന് Students - Subgroups ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് ക്ലാസ്സ് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Add subgroup ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് ഡിവിഷനുകള് ചേര്ത്ത് Close ചെയ്യുക.ഡിവിഷനുകള് ചേര്ക്കുമ്പോള് ക്ലാസ് കൂടി ചേര്ക്കണം. (ഉദാ; 10 A, 09 B, 08 C)
ചേര്ത്ത ഡിവിഷന് നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Removeക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Modifyക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി.
Activitiesചേര്ക്കാന്
Data menu വില് നിന്ന് Activities ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തുറന്നു വരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
വിന്ഡോയില് താഴെ കാണുന്ന Show years, Show gruopsഎന്നിവ അണ്ചെക്ക് ചെയ്ത് show subgroup മാത്രം ചെക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
Teachers എന്ന ബോക്സില് നിന്ന് അധ്യാപകന്റെ പേര് ഡബ്ള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. Subjects എന്നതിന് താഴെ നിന്ന് വിഷയം തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക. Students എന്ന ബോക്സില് നിന്ന് ക്ലാസിന്റെ പേര് ഡബ്ള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. Split into.... Activities per weekഎന്നതിന് താഴെ ആഴ്ചയിലുള്ള പിരീഡുകളുടെ എണ്ണം ചേര്ക്കുക. അഞ്ചിലധികം പിരീഡുകള് ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് If activities on same day, force consecutive എന്നത് അണ്ചെക്ക് ചെയ്യണം. ഇത്രയും കഴിഞ്ഞാല് Add current activitiesക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
തുടര്ന്ന് ക്ലാസ്ലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ വലതുവശത്തുള്ള Selected എന്ന ബോക്സിന് താഴെയുള്ള Clear ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ഇനി അതേ അധ്യാപകനു തന്നെ അതേ വിഷയം തന്നെ മറ്റൊരു ക്ലാസില് കൂടി ചേര്ക്കണമെങ്കില് ക്ലാസിന്റെ പേര് ഡബ്ള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് പിരീഡുകളുടെ എണ്ണം ചേര്ത്ത് Add current activitiesക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി. അതേ അധ്യാപകനു തന്നെ മറ്റൊരു വിഷയമാണെങ്കില് വിഷയം തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് ക്ലാസിന്റെ പേര് ഡബ്ള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് പിരീഡുകളുടെ എണ്ണം ചേര്ത്ത് Add current activities ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യണം. പ്രസ്തുത അധ്യാപകന്റെ എല്ലാ വിഷയങ്ങളും ഇപ്രകാരം ചേര്ത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞാല് ക്ലാസ്ലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ വലതുവശത്തുള്ള Selected എന്ന ബോക്സിന് താഴെയും ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് ലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ വലതുവശത്തുള്ള Selected എന്ന ബോക്സിന് താഴെയുമുള്ള Clear ബട്ടണുകള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
അടുത്ത അധ്യാപകന്റെ പേര് ഡബ്ള് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് ബാക്കി നടപടികള് പൂര്ത്തീകരിക്കുക. ഇപ്രകാരം മുഴുവന് അധ്യാപകരുടെയും മുഴുവന് വിഷയങ്ങളും ചേര്ക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.
ചേര്ത്ത ഒരാളെ നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Remove currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തിരുത്തണമെങ്കില് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് Rename currentക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല് മതി. മുഴുവന് ചേര്ത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞാല് Close ബട്ടണ് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. Activities വിന്ഡോയും ക്ലോസ് ചെയ്യുക.
നാം ചേര്ത്ത വിവരങ്ങള് ശരിയാണോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാന് Statistics മെനുവില് നിന്ന് Teacher statistics, Subject statistics, Student statistics എന്നിവ പരിശോധിക്കാം.
ക്ലാസ് ടീച്ചര്ക്ക് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ആദ്യ പിരീഡ് ചേര്ക്കുന്നതിന് Data - Time constraints – Activities time constraints – An activity has a preferred starting time എന്ന ക്രമത്തില് തുറക്കുക.
തുറന്നുവരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. അടുത്ത ജാലകത്തിലാണ് വിവരങ്ങള് നല്കേണ്ടത്. Teacher, Students set(ക്ലാസ്), Subject, Activity, Day, Start hour(പിരീഡ്) എന്നിവ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് Add current constraint ല് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ഓരോ ക്ലാസിലേയും ഓരോ ദിവസത്തെ വീതം സെറ്റ് ചെയ്യണം. Activity തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുമ്പോള് Id ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. ഓരോ Id യിലുള്ള Activity ഓരോ ദിവസത്തേക്ക് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കണം. 5 പിരീഡുള്ള ഒരു Activity ചേര്ക്കുമ്പോള് ഓരോ പിരീഡിനും ഓരോ Id നല്കപ്പെടും. Activity യുടെ പേര് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. (ഉദാ: Act:T:ADK, S:Mal, St:10 A, Id:78, AGId:78, D:1, TD:5, A:yes. T അധ്യാപകനെയും S വിഷയത്തെയും St ക്ലാസിനെയും സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. തുടര്ന്ന് നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ള Id ആണ് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടത്.)
IT ലാബ് പോലെ തുടര്ച്ചയായി പിരീഡുകള് വരണമെങ്കില് Data - Time constraints – Activities time constraints – A setof activities has a set of preferred starting times എന്ന ക്രമത്തില് തുറക്കുക.
തുറന്നുവരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് Add ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. അടുത്ത ജാലകത്തില് Teacher, Student set, Subject എന്നിവ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക.
Set all slots not allowed ബട്ടണ് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. തുടര്ന്ന് ഏത് പിരീഡുകളുകളിലാണോ പ്രസ്തുത വിഷയം വരേണ്ടത് ആ പിരീഡുകളില് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. ശരിയാണെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്ക് Add constraint ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. ഇങ്ങനെ ഓരോന്നും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം close ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ Edubuntu 10.04ല് ബ്ലാങ്ക് ഫീല്ഡ് Allowed നെയും X മാര്ക്ക് ചെയ്തത് Not allowed നെയും ആണ് സുചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
സേവ് ചെയ്യുക. File – Save.
ഇനി ടൈംടേബ്ള് നിര്മ്മിക്കാനായി Timetable – Generate new ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
തുടര്ന്ന് വരുന്ന വിന്ഡോയില് start ബട്ടണിലും അടുത്ത information box ല് ok യിലും ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
നിര്മ്മിച്ച ടൈംടേബ്ള് home folder/fet-results folder ലാണ് സേവ് ചെയ്യുക. file name_index.html എന്ന ഫയല് തുറന്നാല് നാം നിര്മ്മിച്ച ടൈംടേബ്ള് പല രൂപത്തിലും ഭാവത്തിലും കാണുകയും പ്രിന്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യാം.
ഒരേ സമയം ഒന്നിലധികം ടൈംടെബിളുകള് നിര്മ്മിക്കുകയുമാവാം. അതിന് Timetable - Generate multiple varients ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. Home- Fet-results ല് ഓരോ ഫോള്ഡറിലായി ഓരോ ടൈംടെബിള് കാണാം. താരതമ്യം ചെയ്ത് വേണ്ടത് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാമല്ലോ.
സ്ക്രീന്ഷോട്ടോടു കൂടിയ പിഡിഎഫ് ഫയലിനായി ഇവിടെ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക
ഈ വര്ഷം ടൈംടേബിള് ഊണ്ടാക്കാന് വേണ്ടി ടൈംടേബിള് സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയര് തുറന്നു നോക്കിയതാണ്. പക്ഷേ അതില് എങ്ങനെ വിവരങ്ങള് നല്കണമെന്നത് അറിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് അടച്ചുവച്ച് മുന്വര്ഷങ്ങളിലെപോലെ തന്നെ ടൈംടേബിള് തയ്യാറാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഒന്നാം ഭാഷയ്ക്കായി ഒരേ സമയം 6 ക്ലാസ്സുകളെ വീതം ക്ലബ് ചെയ്യാനും , 3 കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര് ലാബുകളിലെയ്ക്ക് കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കാതെ അധ്യാപകരെ വിടാനും , 72 അധ്യാപകര്ക്ക് രാവിലെയും ഉച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞും ഓരോ ഫ്രീ പീരിയഡ് എങ്കിലും കൊടുത്തു സമാധാനിപ്പിക്കാനും ഇതിലും user friendly ആയ ടൈം ടേബിള് സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് വേറെ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ട് തല്ക്കാലം പുലിവാല് പിടിക്കുന്നില്ല .

ReplyDeleteഏറെ നാളായി ബ്ലോഗിന്റെ വായനക്കാരായ അധ്യാപകര് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഒന്നാണ് ടൈംടേബിള് സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര്. കൊല്ലത്ത് നിന്നുള്ള അധ്യാപകര് FET സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയറിന് ഒരു ഹെല്പ് എഴുതിയത് അവര്ക്കെല്ലാം ഒരു സഹായമാണ്. ഈ വര്ഷം ടൈംടേബിള് തയ്യാറാക്കിയവരും തല്പരരായവരും ഈ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ഉപയോഗിച്ചു നോക്കി അഭിപ്രായം പറഞ്ഞാല് മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് ഉപകാരപ്രദമാകുമെന്നതില് സംശയമില്ല.

ReplyDeleteസാര് പറയുന്ന പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്ക്കും പരിഹാരം FETല് ഉണ്ട്. Data - Time constraints - Teachers/Students/Activities ല് options ഉണ്ട്. ഈ വര്ഷത്തെ school timetable ഞാന് FET ല് ആണ് തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്.

Some E Timetable softwares are available in the market. But they are on Windows plat form. I tried FET some years back(not in school, but tried it personally to know how it works.)A software has its limitation. To solve the problems related to Timetable is that we, the teachers have to change their attitude, that is all. They must learn to accommodate with the situation, if necessary. If a teacher is not ready to adjust with his or her colleagues, which software can help the head of the institution? H a Ha HA

ReplyDeleteആറ്റിങ്ങല് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ജില്ലയില് FET ഉപയോഗിച്ച് Timetable generate ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള SITC Training, MT HARIKRISHNAN Sir നല്കിയിരുന്നു.School തുറന്ന ദിവസം തന്നെ Timetable നല്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞു.ഒന്നിലധികം ദിവസം last period ഒരു subject വരുന്നത് മാറ്റാന് സാധിച്ചില്ല.Timetable generate ചെയ്ത ശേഷം manual ആയി പ്രശ്നം പരിഹരിച്ചു.FET ഉപയോഗപ്രദം തന്നെ സംശയമില്ല.ഇതി Blog ല് Screen shot ഓടെ നല്കിയ രാജു,അസീസ് സാറിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്

Just go to synaptic and type 'gtablix' and install...and you can see it in Applications>Office>Gtablix Time Table Generator

താങ്കളുടെ പോസ്റ്റ് കണ്ടു. നെറ്റില് വെറുതെ തപ്പി നടക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് വളരെ ഉപയോഗപ്രദമായ ഈ സൈറ്റ് കണ്ണില് പെട്ടു . അതിനിടയില് സാറിന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം "കണ്ണില് ഒരു കരടു" പോലെ തോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രം രണ്ടു വരി കുറിക്കാമെന്നു കരുതി. ഒരു സൈറ്റ് വിസിറ്റര് എന്ന നിലയില് ഇത് വായിച്ചപ്പോള് ആ വരികളില് ഒളിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന നഷ്ടബോധം,ഈഗോ എന്നിങ്ങനെ എന്തൊക്കെയോ ഭാവങ്ങള് മനസ്സില് ഒളിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ തോന്നിപ്പോയി. ഇതിലും നല്ല യൂസര് ഫ്രന്റ്ലി സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയര് ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് താങ്കള് അത് മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല? അതോ വിദ്യ പകര്ന്ന് കൊടുക്കാനുള്ള ഒന്നല്ലേ? വിളിച്ചു ഉണര്ത്തിയിട്ടു ഊണില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെയായല്ലോ ആരാധ്യനായ സാര്.., താങ്കള്ക്ക് അങ്ങനെ ഒരു സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയറിനെ പറ്റി അറിയാമെങ്കില് മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് പകര്ന്നു കൊടുക്കുക,ഈ സൈറ്റ് തന്നെ അതിനൊരു വേദിയാകട്ടെ. വിദ്യ പകര്ന്നു നല്കുന്നതിന്റെ ആ സുഖം അനുഭവിച്ചു നോക്കൂ

മേല്പ്പറഞ്ഞ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ഏജന്സി എനിക്കില്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടും , മാത്സ് ബ്ലോഗിലൂടെ അതിനു സൌജന്യ പബ്ലിസിറ്റി കിട്ടേണ്ട എന്ന മര്യാദ കാണിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും ആണ് പേര് പരാമര്ശി ക്കാതിരുന്നത് . എങ്കില് പോലും മെയില് ID ഇവിടെ തരികയാണെങ്കില് തീര്ച്ചയായും അതിന്റെ പേര് നല്കുന്നതാണ് .
ആ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയോ , ഉപയോഗിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നത് തികച്ചും വ്യക്തിപരമായ കാര്യമാണ് .
ആയതിനാല് അതുമൂലം എന്തെങ്കിലും മാനഹാനിയോ , മനോവ്യഥകളോ ഉണ്ടായാല് അതൊക്കെ ചോദിച്ചു വാങ്ങിയ അടിയായി കരുതി സ്വയം സമാധാനിക്കേണ്ടതാണ് .

subjects like ss ,eng,mal...were placed twice on the same day.leaving some other days devoid of those subjects.
how could it be overcome? i've done everything according to the instructions given in the blog.

FETഉപയോഗിച്ചു തുടങ്ങുന്നേയുള്ളൂ. ഒരു ക്ലാസ്സിൽ മലയാളം/സംസ്കൃതം/അറബി എന്നിവ ഒരേസമയത്ത് വരാൻ വേണ്ടി രണ്ടു ഡിവിഷനുകളിലുള്ള കുട്ടികളെ എങ്ങിനെ ക്ലബ്ബ് ചെയ്യാം. ഏത് constrain ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടത്?

In my school there are 40 divisions 60 teachers with Malayalam, Arabic, Sanskrit and Urdu languages. If you try it in better way you will get good result. Using the notes given above try to do.
