- ഐടി പരീക്ഷ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യാത്തതും ഉബുണ്ടു ഓപ്പറേറ്റിങ് സിസ്റ്റം ഉള്ളതുമായ ഒരു കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറില്‍ കലോത്സവം സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യാം.
- ഇവിടെ നിന്നും കലോത്സവം സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ഡെസ്കോപ്പിലേക്ക് കോപ്പി ചെയ്തിട്ട ശേഷം Gdebi Package Manager ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുക. ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനു മുന്നോടിയായി നമ്മുടെ Admin പാസ്സ് വേര്‍ഡ് സിസ്റ്റം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. അത് കൃത്യമായി നല്‍കുക.
- ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷനു ശേഷം Application→Education→Kalolsavam1.0 എന്ന ക്രമത്തില്‍ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് തുറക്കാം.

- ഒരു ഡാറ്റാബേസ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനും സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയറുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചു നിര്‍ത്തുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടിയാണ് MySql ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്
- ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് വഴി MySql ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുകയോ ചുവടെ നിന്നും Mysql ന്റെ പാക്കേജുകള്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുകയോ ആകാം. Click here for download Mysql part - I | Part -II
- Part-I, Part-II ലിങ്കുകളിലുള്ള rar ഫയല്‍ right click ചെയ്ത് എക്സ്ട്രാക്ട് ചെയ്യുക. രണ്ട് ഫോള്‍ഡറിലേയും ഫയലുകള്‍ ഒരു ഫോള്‍ഡറിലേക്ക് ഇടുക. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഈ ഫോള്‍ഡറില്‍ ആകെ 12 deb പാക്കേജുകള്‍ കാണും. ആ ഫോള്‍ഡറില്‍ right click ചെയ്ത് Open in terminal എടുത്ത ശേഷം sudo dpkg -i *.* എന്ന കമാന്റ് ടെപ്പ് ചെയ്യുക. (ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് കമാന്റ് കോപ്പി പേസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്താലും മതി)
- ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷനിടെ വരുന്ന വിന്‍ഡോയില്‍ Mysql പാസ് വേര്‍ഡ് root എന്നു തന്നെ നല്‍കുക. retype ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും root എന്നു തന്നെ പാസ്വേഡ് നല്‍കുക. ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ചിലപ്പോള്‍ ഡാറ്റാബേസ് കണക്ട് ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിച്ചെന്നു വരില്ല.
- ഇനി Applications-Education-kalolsavam 1.0 എന്ന ക്രമത്തില്‍ ഇനി സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് തുറക്കാം

ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്കൂള്‍ കലോത്സവം മുഴുവനായും ഇതുപയോഗിച്ചാണ് നടത്തിയത്.നല്ല കിടിലന്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റുകളും അന്നേക്കന്നു തന്നെ ചൂടോടെ കുുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
ചില errors ഉണ്ട് ട്രയല്‍ വേര്‍ഷനില്‍......
അടുത്ത വര്‍ഷത്തേക്ക് പക്കയാക്കാമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു.
Sourcecode ആവശ്യമുള്ളവരോട് mail ചെയ്യാന്‍ പറയൂ. file size വളരെയധികമാണ്

ReplyDeleteGambas3 latest version ആണ്.സ്കൂള്‍ ഉബുണ്ടുവില്‍ അത് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്താത്തനിലാണ് Gambas2 തന്നെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. Gambas3 യില്‍ Gambas2 വിനെ Gambas3 യിലേക്ക് convert ചെയ്യുവാനുള്ള option ഉണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. Gambas3 കൂടുതല്‍ സൗകര്യങ്ങളുള്ള ഒരു environment ആണ്. എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് സ്കൂള്‍ ഉബുണ്ടു പാക്കേജില്‍ അത് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്താത്തതെന്ന് അറിയില്ല

ReplyDeleteFrom the comments I get there is a unease with Mysql DB connectivity. What about Some light db? I am not good at Gambas, so don't know if something like sqlite is available there. Though it's not much secure, it's handy and may b apposite for an application like this.
