First Terminal Exam 2014 - Answers

സ്‌ക്കൂളുകളില്‍ ഒന്നാം പാദവാര്‍ഷിക പരീക്ഷ നടക്കുകയാണ്. മുന്‍വര്‍ഷങ്ങളിലേതു പോലെ പല അധ്യാപകരും ഉത്തരസൂചികകള്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കി മാത് സ് ബ്ലോഗിന് അയച്ചു തരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഉത്തരക്കടലാസുകളുടെ മൂല്യനിര്‍ണയം നടത്തുന്നതിനായി എല്ലാ അധ്യാപകരും ചോദ്യപേപ്പറുകള്‍ക്ക് സ്വയം ഉത്തരമെഴുതാറുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ അതില്‍ വിരലിലെണ്ണാവുന്നവര്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന ഉത്തരങ്ങള്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യാനായി ബ്ലോഗ് എന്ന പൊതുമാധ്യമത്തിലേക്ക് പങ്കുവെക്കുകയാണ്. ഇവരുടെ സന്മനസ്സിനെ എത്ര അഭിനന്ദിച്ചാലും മതിയാകില്ല. തൊടിയൂര്‍ ഗവ.സ്‌ക്കൂളിലെ സണ്ണിസാറും, തെക്കേക്കര ടി.പി.ജോണ്‍സന്‍ സാറുമെല്ലാം വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി ഈ സന്മനസ്സോടെ വര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. അക്കൂട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് പുതിയ ചില അധ്യാപകരും കൂടി പങ്കുചേര്‍ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇവര്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കി അയച്ചു തന്ന ഹൈസ്‌ക്കൂള്‍ തല ഓണപ്പരീക്ഷയിലെ ചില വിഷയങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്തരങ്ങള്‍ ചുവടെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ലഭിക്കുന്നവ ഇതേ പോസ്റ്റില്‍ അപ്‌ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിരിക്കും.

    പ്രിയ രഘുനാഥ്,

    ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ഒരു അപാകതയുണ്ടെന്നുള്ളത് വാസ്തവം. എന്നാല്‍ വശങ്ങളുടെ പ്രത്യേകതയും ഒരു കോണും തന്നിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. തുല്യമായ രണ്ടു വശങ്ങളുടെ എതിരേയുള്ള കോണുകള്‍ തുല്യമായിരിക്കുമല്ലോ. അതായത് രണ്ടു തുല്യവശങ്ങളുടേയും എതിരേയുള്ള കോണുകള്‍ 30 ഡിഗ്രി വീതം. ഇതു രണ്ടും കൂടി കൂട്ടി ത്രികോണത്തിലെ ആകെ കോണുകളുടെ തുകയായ 180 ഡിഗ്രിയില്‍ നിന്നു കുറക്കുമ്പോള്‍ 120 ഡിഗ്രി കിട്ടില്ലേ?

    Let us make a collection of all the question papers and answer keys of all classes - L.P., U.P. and H.S.. Just scan them as .pdf and send it to Maths Blog. Prepare the answer keys in word format or as pdf and send it too.

    സമചതുരത്തിന്റെ പരപ്പളവും, ചെറിയ ത്രികോണങ്ങളുടെ പരപ്പളവും കൂട്ടിയാല്‍ വലിയ മട്ടത്രികോണത്തിന്റെ പരപ്പളവ് തന്നെ കിട്ടണ്ടേ?

    ജിജി വര്‍ഗീസ് സാര്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ഗണിതശാസ്ത്രപരീക്ഷയുടെ ഉത്തരങ്ങളില്‍ പതിനെട്ടാം ചോദ്യത്തിലെ എ പാര്‍ട്ടില്‍ ഒരു ചെറിയ പിശകുണ്ട്.
    BE = 10-3.84 = 6.6 ഇതു തുടങ്ങിയാണ് പിശക്.

    പത്താം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ 16-ാം ഗണിതചോദ്യത്തിലെ പ്രശനം പ്രീയ സതീശന്‍ എഴുതിയത് ശരിയാണ്. ബീജഗണിതരീതിയില്‍ കിട്ടിയ ഉത്തരമായ 8 cm. ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ചിത്രം വരച്ചാല്‍ സമചതുരത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ശീര്‍ഷം വലിയ മട്ടത്രികോണത്തിന് വെളിയില്‍ പോകുന്നു. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ഒരു ചിത്രം വരക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമോ?

    ഗണിതം...പതിനേഴാം ചോദ്യം...AOB=60 ഡിഗ്രി വരയ്ക്കാന്‍ പ്രൊട്രാക് ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കരുതെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല...!എന്റെ ക്ലാസ്സിലെ "കാവ്യ" വരച്ച രീതി പറയാം...AOBയെന്ന കോണ്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച ശേഷം അതിന്റെ സമഭാജി വരച്ചു...അപ്പോള്‍ 30ഡിഗ്രി കിട്ടി..അതിനെ നീട്ടി,150ഡിഗ്രിയുമുണ്ടാക്കി(രേഖീയ ജോടിയിലെ കോണുകള്‍ അനുപൂരകമെന്ന ആശയം)...ഇഷ്ടമായോ?

    ഒരു രക്ഷിതാവായതുകൊണ്ട് പറയുകയാണ്.കെമിസ്ട്രി ഉത്തരസൂചിക നോക്കി. നല്ല ഉദ്യമം. ഇതു തുടരണം. പക്ഷേ ആശാനക്ഷരമൊന്നു പിഴച്ചാല്‍..... എന്ന പഴമൊഴിയൊന്നു മനസ്സില്‍ വച്ചു ഒരിക്കല്‍ കൂടി പരിശോധിച്ചു മാത്രമേ പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കാവൂ. മാത്രമല്ല മിക്ക ഉത്തരങ്ങളും ഒറ്റവാക്കു മാത്രമല്ലേയുള്ളൂ... ഇതുവച്ചുകൊണ്ട് എങ്ങിനെ മുഴുവന്‍ മാര്‍ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത് നന്ന്.6a,6b,6c,10b എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു വാചകമെങ്കിലും വേണ്ടേ വ്യക്തതയ്ക്ക്...10a യുടേതിന് കേശിക ഉയര്‍ച്ച എന്നെഴുതേണ്ടതല്ലേ.ധാരാളം വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഇടമായതുകൊണ്ട് തെറ്റുകൂടാതെയുള്ള ഭാഷാ പ്രയോഗത്തിന് (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കമന്റുകള്‍ക്ക് പോലും ) പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്.പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ബിരുദധാരികളായവര്‍ പോലും ഗ്രാമറും സ്പെല്ലിംഗും തെറ്റിക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോള്‍ പിന്നെ കുട്ടികളെ എങ്ങിനെ കുറ്റം പറയും. ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫര്‍മാരെപ്പോലെയുള്ള തിരുത്തല്‍ശക്തികള്‍ക്ക് സാധ്യത കൂടും

    See the answer to the Question 8 of 8 std Maths : Total amount = Rs 900 * 7/3 = Rs 2100 only (not Rs 21000) and so Raheem got Rs 1500 and Mathew got Rs 600.

    In Question 16 of 10 std Maths, Algebra deceive Geometry !!!

    I think the correct answer for 10(b)[10th STD] is circuit 2 because

    Nichrome wire has far, far higher resistance per unit length at a given cross section.

    The power dissipated in a resistor is the product of the resistance and current, so a larger resistance at the same current means more power dissipated as heat.

    Dear Kani, എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ എട്ടാം ചോദ്യത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരം എഴുതിയപ്പോള്‍ അശ്രദ്ധ വന്നു പോയതാണ്. തിരുത്തിയ ഫയല്‍ പിറ്റേന്ന് തന്നെ അയച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. മാറ്റി പബ്ലീഷ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ വിട്ടുപോയതായിരിക്കും. മുന്‍പേ പ്രീയ പ്രകാശന്‍ എഴുതിയ പ്രകാരം ' ആശാന്‍ അക്ഷരം ഒന്നു പിഴച്ചാല്‍ ........' എന്നപോലെ കണക്ക് മാഷിന് പൂജ്യം ഒന്നു പിഴച്ച് 2100 എന്നത് 21000 ആയിപ്പോയതാണ്. ക്ഷമിക്കണം.

    2 സർക്കീട്ടുകളിലും ഒരേ voltage തന്നെയെന്നു അനുമാനിക്കാം. 2സർക്കീട്ടുകളിലെയും പ്രതിരോധവും കറന്റും വ്യത്യസ്തമായതിനാൽ H= I2Rt എന്ന സമവാക്യം ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആകെ കൻഫ്യൂഷൻ. എന്നാൽ H= V2t/R, H=IVt എന്നീ സമവാക്യങ്ങൾ ആകുമ്പോൾ ഈ കൻഫ്യൂഷൻ ഒന്നുമില്ലല്ലോ. H=V2t/R
    പ്രകാരം പ്രതിരോധം കുറഞ്ഞ സർക്കീട്ടിൽ താപം കൂടുതൽ ആയിരിക്കും. H=IVt പ്രകാരം കറന്റ് കൂടിയ സർക്കീട്ടിൽ താപം കൂടുതൽ ആയിരിക്കും.

    Dear PIOUS Sir.. Thanks for your effort. I would like to point out two mistakes I think so.
    1) in the Answer of 11th question (a). Since the front portion of sclera is transparent we can view the front portion of choroid ie IRIS. So the statement of Somu is not Correct.
    2) Answer for 15(c) "SPINAL REFLEX" or "Reflex controlled by Spinal Cord". All these three are Reflex Actions.

    1)ANSWER FOR 14 (C)- Students are asked to analyse the flow chart & Find out answer. In Flow chart the only hormone secreted by neuron given is RELEASING HORMONE. The question is not to write down any one hormone secreted by neuron. So I think the apt ANSWER is RELEASING HORMONE.
    2)Answer for 15 (c)is Spinal Reflex or Reflex by Spinal Cord.

    ൧൦ ആം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ 5 ആം ചോദ്യത്തിന്‍റെ ഉത്തരം മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാവരും വിവേചകം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടു. k യുടെ വര്‍ഗ്ഗം നാലോ അതില്‍ കൂടുതലോ ആകണമെങ്കില്‍ K യുടെ വില രണ്ടില്‍ കൂടുതലോ -2ല്‍ കുറവോ ആകാമല്ലോ. ഈ സാധ്യത പരിഗണിച്ചു കണ്ടില്ല.

    Dear Padma Prasad, 10-ാം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ ഗണിതം 5-ാം ചോദ്യത്തില്‍ x ഒരു അധിസംഖ്യയാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ട് 1/x ഉം അധിസംഖ്യയായിരിക്കും. അപ്പോള്‍ [x+(1/x)] ഉം അധിസംഖ്യ തന്നെ. അതായത് k അധിസംഖ്യ ആയേ പറ്റു. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് k യുടെ വില അധിസംഖ്യയായി മാത്രം പരിഗണിച്ചത്.
